About Verse Medical
We’re building the software infrastructure that enables hospital-quality care, at home. As healthcare costs have increased, the patient’s home has become incredibly important as a site of care.

Yet, patients recovering at home are highly underserved. Patients can only get better at home if they receive the high-quality care that they need reliably. The existing in-home care process involves a patchwork of different vendors, all connected through faxes and phone calls. We’re building modern, robust software that solves this challenge. We currently operate across 49 states with most of the largest health systems in the US.

We’re a Series B company, backed by some of the best investors in technology and healthcare including SignalFire and Sapphire Ventures. We have ambitious expansion plans, so it’s a particularly exciting time to join the company as we’re aggressively expanding the team.

What the role consists of:

    • Set up a new vertical within the Partnerships function focused on coordinated delivery of medical equipment to patients, in cases where Verse is not able to ship the equipment directly to a patient ourselves
    • Prospect potential partners and sell our partnership offering to medical supply businesses across the country
    • Operate the order referral process in an extremely hands-on manner, ensuring each order has all of the required documentation and can be successfully and compliantly delivered by partners
    • Plan and outline new software features that will facilitate efficient and automated operations as we scale this function from a few orders a month to thousands of orders
    • Unlike a conventional strategy role, this is a highly execution- and implementation-oriented role. You will be required to actually operate the function yourself, rather than simply dictating how it aught to be operated by someone else or some other team.
    • This is the first role of its kind within the company

What we're looking for:

    • 1+ years in a previous consulting, banking, or other intellectually rigorous role
    • Excellent communication skills and willingness to spend a significant amount of the day on the phone
    • Consultative, willing to take feedback and iterate accordingly
    • High level of organization and attention to detail
    • Willingness to take on complex and ambiguous challenges with a can-do attitude. This role may occasionally require extended working hours to meet deadlines and achieve business-critical objectives

Why this role:

    • Fast career progression. We’re at an inflection point as a company and want our team members to grow with us.
    • Work in a low bureaucracy environment that allows you to do your job well.
    • Work highly cross-functionally and learn about essentially every function within our business.
$85,000 - $130,000 a year
This range reflects the starting base salary within the role. Opportunities to earn additional bonus compensation would be dependent on performance in the first months of the role.
