About Verse Medical
We’re building the software infrastructure that enables hospital-quality care, at home. As healthcare costs have increased, the patient’s home has become incredibly important as a site of care.

Yet, patients recovering at home are highly underserved. Patients can only get better at home if they receive the high-quality care that they need reliably. The existing in-home care process involves a patchwork of different vendors, all connected through faxes and phone calls. We’re building modern, robust software that solves this challenge. We currently operate across 49 states with most of the largest health systems in the US.

We’re a Series C company, backed by some of the best investors in technology and healthcare including General Catalyst, SignalFire, and Sapphire Ventures. We have ambitious expansion plans, so it’s a particularly exciting time to join the company as we’re aggressively expanding the team.

Product Management at Verse
This isn’t a standard PM role and we don’t want a standard PM. At Verse, engineers are deeply product-oriented, and product managers are expected to be analytical, execution-focused leaders who can deeply understand the problems we solve. You’ll work shoulder-to-shoulder with a strong team of engineers, designers and clinical operators who all share a bias for action and a deep sense of mission.

We’re hiring our second Product Manager to join our team. In this role, you’ll have end-to-end ownership of several high-priority product areas, including building enterprise-grade tools for provider organizations, expanding into entirely new product categories, launching strategic initiatives with payors, and improving core experiences across our clinic-facing software. If you thrive in high-ownership environments, and want to build real systems that improve real lives, this is the place.

What the role consists of:

    • Work cross-functionally with engineering, design, business operations and legal to deliver impactful and intuitive features at scale.
    • Develop product strategy aligned with company goals and market opportunities.
    • Conduct market research to identify user needs and market trends.
    • Define and prioritize product roadmaps.
    • Create product requirements and user stories.
    • Lead product lifecycle from concept to launch.
    • Perform user and stakeholder analysis.
    • Develop and track product KPIs, conduct A/B tests and iterate on features to optimize user experiences.
    • Continuously optimize user experiences by developing and tracking product KPIs, and iterating on features informed by A/B test results.
    • Operate autonomously in a fast-paced environment with a high level of ambiguity and visibility.
    • Work independently amidst a high degree of ambiguity and visibility in a fast-paced environment.
    • Drive product innovation by staying informed about trends in the healthtech sector, competitor products, and emerging technologies.

What we're looking for:

    • 3 - 7 years of Product Management experience preferably in a healthcare environment or digital health.
    • Deep understanding of product management practices, including market research, ideation, user testing, and agile development.
    • Experience working directly with engineers, designers, data analysts/scientists to solve multi-faceted problems to drive business value for internal and external stakeholders.
    • Passion for delivering exceptional user experiences that improve the lives of in-home patients and support healthcare partners.
    • Working knowledge of user-centered design principles and best practices.
    • Strong empathy, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
    • Strong strategic thinking, research and analytical skills  to inform product decisions.
    • Preferred: experience with SQL, design tools, ticketing tools (Jira, Linear), A/B testing, and prototyping.

Why this role:

    • We just closed our Series C in June and are investing in expanding our product offerings.
    • Join a small but fast-growing product organization and make a significant impact on its success.
    • Play a crucial role in expanding our healthcare technology offerings.
    • Work closely with the Head of Product and other technical and business leaders within the company.
    • Work in a dynamic and innovative environment in the heart of Manhattan, New York City.
