The Role
As Vevo continues to grow our Connected Television space we need an experienced designer to become the creative driving force behind that expansion.Reporting directly to the Head of Design you will be working within a small internal design team responsible for assets reaching millions of people on our connected TV network everyday. Your role will include completing daily/weekly design tasks to promote Vevo across our TV partners, assigning work to junior team members, overseeing and quality controlling internal and external team's outputs. You will also be a key component in developing new connected TV formats/assets and improving/iterating our creative assets across our TV network.

You
You are an experienced creative and graphic designer, you are passionate about details and branding. You are given the framework and you know how to work within the rules but bend them to reach the best solution. You have a high level of technical ability, but you are still inquisitive and love trying new techniques and ideas. You are looking to make that step up to be a senior designer with more responsibility and forward vision to help develop and improve the overall creative body of work as well as complete individual tasks.

Responsibilities

    • Managing day to day projects, ensuring they are completed on time to the highest quality whether by you or another team member
    • Working with Head of Design and other senior designers to build systems and processes
    • Working on the development of new formats and initiativesWorking with sales teams to reach creative solutions to increase revenue
    • Being a resource to junior designers within the team, helping with direction and technical assistance
    • Ensuring design work is quality and format checked for production, be it digital, social, motion or print

Skills and Qualifications

    • Minimum 3 years within an in-house design team or agency setting
    • Diverse portfolio demonstrating design, presentations, branding and collaboration.
    • Comprehensive knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
    • Basic motion/video skills (after effects/premiere Pro)
