We’re looking for a Senior Manager of EU Programming in London. You’ll have a passion for music, across multiple genres and territories. Areas of local music focus and expertise include Italy, France & Spain.
The Senior Manager of EU Programming will report to the Director of International Programming and support in delivering the best programming experience possible to all of our partners, managers, and artists we work with. This role will work closely with internal Content & Programming departments and ensure clear communication and delivery on projects.
Day-to-day tasks will include all linear channel management across Italy, France & Spain along with ensuring all YouTube playlists in those associated markets are thoughtfully curated and updated regularly.
As a member of our team, you will:
- Curating programming across the Vevo platform to reflect local music tastes (IT/FR/ES) Stay up-to-date on all global music priorities & schedule into linear programming rotations across various channels
- Monitor video trends and channel performance to ensure all channels are fully optimized Work with Partner Distribution team to ensure all linear partners feedback is received and acted upon if necessary
- Regularly update YouTube channel cards, end screens & editorial playlists
- Support the Global Programming team to develop key strategies and initiatives Attend the EU Music Meeting and oversight of promotional slates for (IT/FR/ES)

Requirements:
- Minimum of three years of experience working within the music industry, programming music for TV, radio or other media networks
- Experience in entertainment or streaming service and a good understanding of the digital music landscape
- Familiarity and passion for online trends and an understanding of analytics
- Attention to detail and delivering to deadlines
- A genuine eye for new and exciting music talent
- Passion for music, the industry as well as wider music trends and youth culture Tech savvy with a good understanding of CMS and other programming tools, YouTube channel management & YT Analytics
- Great organizational & communication skills, a team player and multitasker
This is a full-time position based on-site/in the office. Vevo operates in a hybrid work model and requires employees to be in office 3 days a week, on average. To qualify for the role you will need to be currently located or willing to relocate near the London office.
