We’re looking for a Team Lead to join Vevo as part of the Editorial, Programming & Marketing team in Europe. This is a 1 year fixed term maternity cover role who will be responsible for a team of programmers that work across multiple European regions and will lead on programming, editorial and marketing initiatives, with a focus on Connected TV, YouTube and social media.This role will be a key part of the European Content & Programming team with room for making your mark and bringing your ideas and initiative to the table.

Responsibilities:

    • Manage a team of programmers and editors that operate across different EU markets
    • Manage the team workload and priorities, ensuring deadlines are met and content is executed at a high standard
    • Lead on the content strategy for EU CTV linear and YouTube programming, identifying editorial opportunities on a EU/Global level and guiding the team on local ones
    • Lead on social strategy for the EU and work closely with US Marketing Director
    • Monitor EU editorial team goals and take action accordingly
    • Collaborate with US Partnerships team on linear expansion and new channel opportunities
    • Work with product team to be up to speed with updates on programming tools, communicate to EU team accordingly
    • Work with US programming team and US marketing team on global campaigns both for Vevo originals and cultural initiatives
    • Create compelling marketing plans for EU Original content franchises, collaborate with wider team to ensure execution
    • Collaborate with EU C&P team on cross-department projects and be up to speed with updates that affect the editorial team

    • You are tech savvy and understand CMS and other content programming tools

Requirements:

    • At least 3 years experience with managing an international team
    • Experience in a media/entertainment company in a creative, content based role
    • Good understanding of different European music markets
    • Knowledge of the YouTube environment and Connected Television space and all innovation currently happening within it
    • Good understanding of social media
    • Additional spoken language preferred (Spanish, Italian, French or German)
