We’re looking for a Junior Editorial Manager, Germany (6 months contract) for our Editorial team in London. You’ll have a passion for music, across multiple genres with a focus on German Rap and be aware of the most exciting new artists and local cultural trends. 

The Junior Editorial Manager will support the Manager, Programming & Editorial, UK & DE and the German Music & Talent Manager in delivering the best experience possible to all of our partners, managers, and artists we work with.
Working closely with internal Content & Programming departments and ensuring clear communication and delivery on projects. 

Day to day tasks will include assisting the Programming & Editorial Manager and Talent Manager with daily admin duties, internal housekeeping, whilst updating playlists daily, creation of social assets for Vevo Germany and research and development of editorial features. Attending meetings, compiling artist reports and analysis for our partners and assisting on Vevo productions in the studio & on location. You will also be working closely with other teams internally to ensure content deadlines are met and delivered on time.

Responsibilities:

    • Assisting programming across the Vevo platform to reflect local music tastes
    • Assisting across the Editorial team on general admin duties, promotional slates, and action items, quality assurance across the Vevo platform
    • Monitor video trends and work on weekly charts newsletter for the market 
    • Create simple video and image assets to promote videos and playlists
    • Regular update of YouTube channel cards and end screens
    • Working with the editorial team to maintain and develop the CRM strategy
    • Assisting at Vevo productions, as required
    • Supporting the Content & Programming team to develop key strategies and initiatives
    • Identifying the most exciting new artists in Germany & beyond
    • Attending the EU Music Meeting and adding promotional slates for Vevo Germany

Requirements:

    • Native German and fluent English language skills
    • Experience working within the music, entertainment or streaming service & a good understanding of the digital music landscape
    • Familiarity and passion for online trends and an understanding of analytics
    • Attention to detail and delivering to deadlines
    • A genuine eye for new and exciting music talent
    • Passion for music, the industry as well as wider music trends and youth culture
    • Tech savvy with a good understanding of CMS and other programming tools, YouTube channel management & YT Analytics 
    • Great organizational & communication skills, a team player and multitasker
This is a full-time position based on-site/in the office. Vevo will operate in a hybrid work model and will require employees to be in office 2-3 days a week, on average.
