We are searching for a highly organized, self-starter Manager to support the fast-paced growth of our Distribution Partnerships team through on-boarding and nurturing of various global distribution partners. 

The Manager of Distribution Partnerships will report into the Sr. Manager of Distribution Partnerships within Vevo’s Distribution organization. This role will play an integral part in helping to achieve the company’s CTV growth objectives while maintaining and elevating our relationships with our valuable distribution partners. The Manager will partner internally and externally with cross sections of the business, from Business Development, Business Affairs, Sales, Revenue Operations, Product and Engineering, Content and Programming, Data Analytics, Digital Marketing, and more. 

In addition to excellent communication skills (written and verbal), success in this role will be dependent upon your ability to learn and adapt quickly, build internal and external relationships, anticipate team needs, and be solution-oriented when faced with challenges. A deep interest in the intersection of media, entertainment and technology is required, specifically regarding the evolving CTV landscape, new digital trends, music, and emerging consumer video platforms. When feasible, in-person meetings (with occasional travel within the US) between the Manager of Distribution Partnerships and our key partners will be encouraged in order to build deeper relationships.  

As a member of the Distribution Partnerships team, you’ll work to formulate processes and best-practices to support the success of the overall team and Vevo’s company objectives. You will work alongside talented and insightful individuals that will challenge you to think about balancing the user experience with revenue goals, what technical solutions should be implemented to launch an optimal product, and what promotional levers to pull to help drive growth. There is a lot of room for taking ownership of the role!   

As a member of our team, you will:

    • Own the working relationship with day-to-day POCs with assigned Partners, including new and existing relationships
    • Collaborate with Partners to identify new business and marketing strategies to drive user engagement as well as content discoverability and findability
    • Serve as the main internal lead and subject matter expert on all capabilities, limitations, and specifications of assigned Partners
    • Actively participate in cross-functional kick-offs and ongoing meetings to ensure launch and proper onboarding for new Partners 
    • Fully understand the Partner arrangements and ensure Vevo and the Partner meet all contractual agreements. Ex: sales rights, data collection, promotional placements etc. 
    • Coordinate with internal Product and Operations teams to ensure programming, product, and monetization are functioning properly and are optimized for assigned Partners
    • Regularly sync with Data Analytics team to understand overall CTV and partner-specific trends to inform growth opportunities 
    • Partner with Sr. Manager, VP, and EVP on the development and presentation of internal and external business reviews (including visibility with Vevo senior leadership) 
    • Continually seek to identify and execute internal and external process improvements, as well as collaborative opportunities to mine value for Vevo stakeholders
    • Research and keep abreast of the fast-changing CTV landscape to understand trends and their impact on our business

Requirements:

    • 3-5 years of experience in a media, entertainment, or technology related professional environment
    • Understanding of the CTV landscape, including paid and ad-supported offerings
    • Advanced PowerPoint skills and knowledge of G-Suite

The pay range for this position is: $85,000 – $95,000 per year. Please note that the foregoing compensation information is a good-faith assessment associated with this position only and is provided pursuant to the New York and California Transparency Law.

This is a full-time position based on-site/in our New York or Los Angeles office. Vevo currently operates in a hybrid work model and requires all employees, who have not been designated as "remote" to be in the office/studio a minimum of 3 days a week.
