Via is a digital employer-of-record platform. We help companies build their own teams in new countries as simply as if they were doing it in their HQ by leveraging Via local entities to legally employ teams on companies' behalf and integrating to local payroll and local benefits on platform, enabling companies to set up a team in a new country in 48 hrs with none of the red tape.

We are hiring a Head of People at Via to lead the development and execution of a best-in-class global people strategy that aligns with our vision and strategic objectives. You’ll thrive in this role if you’re a global soul with a passion for understanding different cultures and building bridges to connect talent to opportunity and guiding companies in becoming more global. You love operating in unchartered territory and build conviction to make quick decisions with enough resources and information, you have an entrepreneurial gut and a go-getter mindset, you’re a natural and charismatic HR leader.

Role & Responsibilities

    • Design and implement processes to attract, retain, and develop top global talent at Via
    • Manage the policies and frameworks for a global remote workforce, creating a collaborative and united company culture across Via global hubs
    • Work closely with founders to hire strategic roles and grow the organization in a hyper-growth stage, hiring top talent for key organization functions Lead talent acquisition strategy to diversify and expand our talent attraction strategies and create a best-in-class onboarding experience Conduct staff selection and interviews, managing agencies or other support as needed
    • Build on our culture of global souls building high-impact solutions for companies and employees around the world
    • Oversee benefits implementation for our global team
    • Take lead on HR strategic initiatives when we launch Via HR services across countries, working with different functional teams to develop the right HR partners and processes across countries
    • Work with internal and external partners to run and manage HR management processes

What you bring

    • 5+ years of experience developing recruiting processes, managing HR processes and functions from the ground up, preferably leading HR for a high-growth group company 
    • You thrive in creating processes and functions from zero to one - you have an entrepreneurial mindset and like taking business needs and making them into reality with your resourceful and execution-oriented mindset
    • You can take on broad scopes of work and different types of responsibilities depending on business needs
    • You are a self-starter and excel at take challenges from the abstract need to put together a practical plan of how to get it done
    • You have experience with startups and tech startup culture
    • You are a global soul and like connecting with people from across the world You’re very detail-oriented and an excellent executor
    • You’re passionate about creating seamless and impactful employee experiences
    • You communicate openly and make your team aware of problems as soon as they arise. You collaborate effectively with other team members and create strong internal and external alliances
    • You’re pragmatic when it comes to solving problems, passionate about creating a great employee experience and company culture, and diligent about ensuring excellence Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Advanced English, Spanish preferred
