The Position

ViaBill is seeking an SDR Manager to join our growing Sales team in NYC. We are looking for a dynamic individual to build and manage a group of sales professionals who are motivated, ready to make an impact, and eager to grow our merchant business.

The ideal candidate will be ready, willing, and able to drive the growth engine of our revenue driving function, optimize internal processes, and coach a team of high performing sellers. There is a significant growth opportunity that comes with this role as our organization continues to excel and move forward.

This position requires working in a flexible and exceptionally fast growing environment where you will also be responsible for leading the sales development and qualification process. This includes providing outbound prospecting, cultivating inbound inquiries, and building highly qualifying partnership opportunities for Sales Development Representatives.

What You'll Do:

    • Qualify leads by learning about the prospect's e-commerce site and educate each prospect on how to optimize their metrics 
    • Conduct market research to identify new potential customers and leads
    • Organize lead lists and reach out to prospects through a consultative sales method either by phone or through targeted mail campaigns
    • Manage lead process to turn over to the Account Executive team
    • Fulfill a high volume of daily outbound calls and emails to engage prospective partners
    • CRM knowledge and tracking all activities, leads/campaigns, and reports using Salesforce
    • Actively looking for opportunities to optimize and improve the sales processes
    • The ability to address partner questions, identify needs and objectives
    • Set up calls/meetings for our Sales team
    • Collaborate with Marketing team to convert marketing leads to qualified sales

What We Look For:

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
    • 2+ years in a team management role
    • Minimum 3+ years of outbound prospecting experience required
    • Experience with B2B business development
    • Quantitative skills and expertise in sales funnel optimization
    • Strong work ethic and an internal drive to exceed targets within a high performing sales team
    • Proven record of accomplishment and over achievement of goals
    • An understanding of payment solutions and/or e-Commerce, or SaaS platforms preferred
    • Interest in working at a fast growing FinTech company
