The Non Latam Agent SupportRepresentative is responsible for developing and servicing a portfolio of clients (Agents) through telephone visits, generating a commercial relationship, which allows negotiations to increase shipping volume and profitability for Viamericas. 

Duties and responsibilities

    • Deliver excellent service and provide solutions to incoming and outgoing calls.
    • Carry out and document telephone visits to the entire assigned territory.
    • Monitor and analyze price monitoring.
    • Follow up on inactive agencies.
    • Develop and implement business plans tailored to territory needs.
    • Prospect and identify opportunities for new business development.
    • Prepare and maintain reports on competitive activity.
    • Provide service and support to field staff.
    • Complete installation of new agencies.
    • Support the development and growth of new agents.
    • Maintain and increase the volume of transactions from the assigned territory.
    • Maintain and increase the profitability of transactions from the assigned territory.
    • Maintain and increase the portfolio of assigned agencies.
    • Follow up and solve the situations reported by agents and field staff.

Supervisory Responsibilities

    • Read, acknowledge and comply with Viamericas Staff Information Security Policy via the Information Security training portal.  This should be done within 30 days of hire and repeated annually.
    • Attend periodic Information Security training provided by Viamericas’.
    • Report any event that might be an Information Security Incident: clicked on a malicious link, downloaded and opened a suspicious file, etc.

    • Strong understanding of the sales cycle with proven ability to prospect, negotiate, close deals, and follow up.
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Creative problem-solver with the ability to manage business challenges effectively.
    • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and disciplined.
    • Skilled in multitasking and thriving in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
    • Experienced in market analysis and identifying potential customer targets.
    • Strong internet research skills.
    • Self-motivated, competitive, and results-driven with a strong desire for success.
    • Positive attitude with excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.
    • Service-oriented with a proactive approach.
    • Proficient in CRM systems and business software such as PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Excel.
    • Adaptable, professional, courteous, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
    • Fully available and flexible to meet business needs.

Working Conditions
