The Revenue Data Analyst will be responsible for administering and enhancing profitability and performance reports, providing critical business intelligence, and supporting revenue optimization initiatives. This role involves managing and updating key performance and operational reports, conducting in-depth analysis of pricing, profitability, agent performance, and market trends, and providing actionable insights to various stakeholders across the organization. The analyst will also support the sales operations team with price and FX elasticity analysis, contributing to healthy Gross Margin Per Transaction (GMPT) and overall business growth.
Duties and responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive profitability analysis by agents, country, and payer, providing insights into key drivers and areas for improvement.
- Work collaboratively with the sales operations team in the development and implementation of pricing guidelines and policies.
- Monitor agency performance, investigating and identifying variance to expectations due to pricing.
- Conduct competitive benchmarking to identify off-market pricing and analyze competitor trends in order to support the development of the company’s pricing strategy and market positioning.
- Develop predictive models and forecasting tools to anticipate trends in transaction volumes, revenue, and profitability.
- Leverage advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools to deliver high-quality data analysis and insights to internal stakeholders and clients. Develop, maintain, and automate dashboards, metric reports, and visualizations to support data-driven decision-making.
- Develop and maintain an agent segmentation and performance review process with clear action items by segment (Decliners / Underperformers / Low profitability) Manage and update the competitive report.
- Read, acknowledge and comply with Viamericas Staff Information Security Policy via the Information Security training portal. This should be done within 30 days of hire and repeated annually.
- Attend periodic Information Security training provided by Viamericas’.
- Report any event that might be an Information Security Incident: clicked on a malicious link, downloaded and opened a suspicious file, etc.

Qualifications
- Bi-lingual (Spanish/English)
- Minimum 2 years working experience in technical data analysis, working with large data sets and with proven business analysis experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Power BI, and SQL, required. Experience with Python, R, or Javascript is a plus.
- Able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks at the same time.
- Detail oriented with an analytical mindset.
- Creative critical thinker with excellent presentation skills, verbal and written communication skills, and interpersonal skills.
