Our Summer Internship Program: 

At Viant, we offer a personalized experience for interns, and our aim is to offer an experience that mimics what it is like to actually work here. We match qualified interns with projects and groups based on interests and skill sets, and fully embed interns within those teams.  As part of this program, you can expect an orientation, learning events, panel discussions and networking opportunities. You’ll also receive performance feedback from your manager as we may consider hiring you full-time or extend an invite to intern again next summer.  
Internships are paid, with a choice to start in May or June to accommodate varying school calendars. 

About the Role

Are you ready to launch your career in Advertising Technology and make an impact on day one? We are on the lookout for smart and collaborative Business Development & Partnerships talent to join our team.

The Business Development function is a new, strategic, and critical member of Viant. Our intern will be responsible for organizing our partner pipeline; developing templates for, and calculating, our partner value exchange; working across functions; and, if appropriate, joining our team in external partner discussions.

What you'll do:

    • Organize our existing and prospective partner list in SalesForce and other documents
    • Develop tools for internal analysis and presentation of the planned value exchange with partners, including crafting negotiation points 
    • Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis to implement and track progress 
    • Develop a rapport with the Partnerships team and our internal constituents
    • Gain experience and knowledge in high-value, strategic partnerships

What we’re looking for:

    • Currently pursuing education in a business or technical degree with an anticipated graduation date in 2024.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Possess leadership and multitasking abilities
    • Curiosity about technology stacks and how they power business partnerships
    • Interest in executing against a partner strategy, with ambition to develop such strategies in the future
    • Must be a self-starter and thrive in a fast-paced environment 
    • Expertise in standard computer software (e.g. Microsoft Office suite) and curious/fearless about learning new software (e.g. Asana and other workplace tools). Mac experience. 
    • A well-rounded academic background with a preferred minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
