WHAT YOU’LL DO

As an HR Coordinator reporting into the Irvine headquarters, your primary responsibility is to support the Human Resources department by handling administrative tasks, managing employee records, conducting onboarding sessions, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. In this role, you will collaborate with various departments to facilitate smooth HR operations while addressing employee inquiries and maintaining a positive workplace environment. 

THE DAY-TO-DAY

    • Redesign and execute on a high-touch onboarding experience while continuously refining onboarding materials and orientation presentations.
    • Manage and maintain employee records, including updating databases and handling documentation for new hires, terminations, and changes in employment status.
    • Address employee inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, and general HR-related matters, providing guidance as needed.
    • Prepare ad-hoc reports as requested.
    • Manage the onboarding process.
    • Generate and maintain HR reports (e.g., turnover, headcount, and compliance reports)
    • Independently lead assigned HR initiatives, such as improving new hire satisfaction and coordinating engagement surveys such as Great Place to Work.  

GREAT TO HAVE

    •  Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred)
    •  Proven experience as an HR coordinator or in a similar administrative role.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS systems.
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
    • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

$70,000 - $75,000 a year
Base Salary Range: $70,000 - $75,000
In accordance with California law, the range provided is Viant’s reasonable estimate of the compensation for this role.  Final title and compensation for the position will be based on several factors including work experience and education.
