WHAT YOU’LL DO

We are seeking a strategic, inspirational, and creative leader to steer Viant’s brand into its next phase of growth. This role is not just about beautiful design—it is about vision, influence, flexibility and culture-shaping leadership. 

The ideal candidate not only delivers bold, business-driving creative work but also embodies organizational maturity, cross-functional collaboration, and leadership excellence. This role goes beyond design— requires equal parts of creative excellence, strategic and solutions oriented mindset, diplomatic leadership, cultural resonance and team inspiration.

THE DAY-TO-DAY

    • Define, evolve, and champion a bold creative strategy aligned with Viant’s business goals and growth marketing priorities across all customer touchpoints.
    • Lead the development of integrated B2B campaigns and branded experiences that elevate Viant’s presence across digital, print, live events, and sales enablement.
    • Create and enforce scalable brand guidelines that ensure consistent tone, look, and feel across all touchpoints.
    • Ensure brand consistency across internal and external channels, including digital, social, events, and partner ecosystems.
    • Understand organizational dynamics and navigate complex stakeholder environments with diplomacy, resilience, and a solutions-focused mindset.
    • Build, mentor, and inspire a diverse team of designers, writers, and producers, fostering a high-performance, psychologically safe environment.
    • Drive the professional growth of team members through coaching, clear feedback, and developmental opportunities.
    • Oversee the development of content including whitepapers, decks, videos, case studies, and social assets that fuel demand generation and thought leadership.
    • Ensure creative work is data-informed and continuously optimized for effectiveness, engagement, and brand affinity.
    • Measure creative output through performance KPIs, productivity benchmarks, and stakeholder satisfaction.
    • Deploying new processes leveraging AI solutions
    • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

    • 10–15 years in creative and brand leadership, with a strong B2B and/or adtech background. AI experience is a plus
    • Track record of building high-performing teams, leading brand transformations, and scaling creative operations
    • BA in Design, Communications, Marketing, or related field. Master’s degree or equivalent experience is a plus
    • Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, project management systems, and analytics platforms experience

$175,000 - $185,000 a year
In accordance with California law, the range provided is Viant’s reasonable estimate of the compensation for this role.  Actual pay will be based on several factors including work experience and education.
