We are seeking a Business Analyst- Financial Strategy to join our growing team. In this role you’ll combine financial acumen with advanced analytics to deliver insights that guide business performance and decision-making. You will build and evolve models and data infrastructure that supports scalable, accurate reporting. This role offers the opportunity to partner cross-functionally and contribute directly to both strategic planning and operational execution.
Responsibilities:
- Build, enhance and maintain financial scalable models and reporting processes to support forecasting, planning and corporate decision-making.
- Develop data models that provide real-time visibility into business and financial performance, including demand planning.
- Write and optimize advanced SQL queries to ensure scalable, accurate and timely data access.
- Conduct analyses such as unit economics, margin and cohort analysis, predictive modeling and scenario planning.
- Work with large, complex data sets to uncover trends, opportunities and risks that inform business strategy.
- Collaborate with teams across the business to translate questions into data-driven insights and actionable recommendations.
- Partner with analytics and engineering to ensure data accuracy, improve pipelines and automate reporting.
- Present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, supporting strategic initiatives and day-to-day operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science or a related field.
- 1+ year of FP&A experience.
- 2+ years of experience working with large data sets.
- Advanced SQL proficiency — ability to write complex queries and optimize performance.
- Experience writing production-ready code (SQL) that has been deployed through version control and code review processes.
- Strong financial modeling skills with advanced Excel/Google Sheets expertise.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to distill complex findings into concise takeaways.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in healthcare, digital health or tele-health analytics.
- Familiarity with Python or R for advanced data analysis.
- Exposure to cloud data warehouses (BigQuery preferred) and data transformation tools (DBT or similar).
- Experience with ERP/financial systems (e.g., NetSuite).
- Prior experience in a high-growth or startup environment.
$100,000 - $115,000 a year
