As Vida continues to scale its virtual care platform, we’re seeking a Marketing Automation Manager to lead execution and platform strategy for Braze. In this highly operational role, you’ll act as the primary owner of Braze across all member-facing functions—translating intake from the Member Marketing team into scalable, high-performing campaigns that drive enrollment, reactivation and retention.
While you’ll participate in strategic discussions around member journey design, your primary responsibility will be ensuring that Braze is used as efficiently and effectively as possible. This includes managing campaigns, canvases, and engagement touchpoints from end to end—optimizing architecture, QA-ing content, QA-ing attributes/audiences and overseeing execution.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on systems-thinking, campaign orchestration, platform ownership and making complex operations run smoothly and reliably at scale.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the day-to-day owner and technical lead for Braze—ensuring platform health, scalability and efficient campaign execution.
- Translate campaign requirements and briefs from the Member Marketing team into actionable Braze workflows.
- Build, QA and launch campaigns and canvases across all channels: segmentation, logic, personalization, scheduling and testing.
- Own and optimize all engagement touchpoints in Braze, including triggered workflows and recurring messages.
- Maintain a high standard of quality control across canvases and messaging logic, including audience rules and fallbacks.
- Implement experimentation frameworks and ensure performance reporting aligns with testing strategy.
- Manage and mentor a Marketing Operations Coordinator focused on QA and campaign support.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders in Product, Design, Data and Clinical to align messaging logistics and timelines.
- Serve as a thought partner on technical feasibility and Braze best practices—not lifecycle strategy ownership.
- Document and improve intake processes and standard operating procedures for campaign intake and execution.
Qualifications:
- 3-5+ years of Marketing Automation/Operations experience.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in Braze (or comparable lifecycle engagement platform)
- Experience managing direct reports or mentoring junior collaborators.
- Strong technical understanding of personalization logic, segment criteria and cross-channel execution (email, push, SMS, in-app).
- Demonstrated ability to scale campaign processes through modular assets and automation.
- Familiarity with tools like Liquid, HTML, Looker or Amplitude.
- Process-oriented, with experience building and maintaining documentation, QA checklists and tagging frameworks.
- Clear communicator with strong cross-functional project management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple campaign timelines, intake requests and platform improvements in parallel.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Experience working in healthcare, healthtech or a regulated industry.
- Familiarity with B2B2C go-to-market models or employer-sponsored benefit solutions.
- Understanding of HIPAA or experience working with PHI-compliant messaging platforms.
$110,000 - $125,000 a year
