This includes creating a service-oriented, auditable, software platform to support multiple client-facing applications in a regulated market.  Highly impactful and mission critical!

Vineti is looking for a Technical Writer to produce high-quality documentation that contributes to the success of our Enterprise SAAS products and services. You will work collaboratively with a talented group of individuals, including developers, quality engineers, product managers, and usability experts. You will be a valued member of the team who is responsible for determining the tools and solutions for developing and delivering content that is an integral part to the success of our company and products.

What you’ll be doing:

    • Work with the software product team in an Agile environment to develop technical documentation for end user and system managers
    • Write User Guides, Tutorials, Work Instructions, and System Configurations
    • Create workflow and system diagrams using appropriate software programs
    • Determine the best delivery method for end-user information, including hard copy, PDFs, online/context sensitive help, or inline text
    • Assess and determine solutions for developing and managing documentation in a multi-client environment
    • Work effectively with Validation, Engineering, DevOps, Software Quality, Product Design, Product Management, Project Management, and Customer Support
    • Collaborate with Marketing to ensure consistent terminology and usage across all company communications
    • Co-author, edit, and review content developed for Vineti clients
    • Write content following translation guidelines
    • Give feedback on product usability

The following experience and skills are important to us:

    • Minimum 3-5 years of experience
    • Four-year degree in Technical Communication, English, or Computer Sciences, or relevant, certified education or experience
    • Ability to grasp complex technical/business concepts
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
    • Understand single-sourcing concepts and provide solutions
    • Experience implementing and managing a Content Management System
    • Basic understanding of SDLC and Agile development
    • Familiar with compliance and validation requirements in an FDA-regulated environment

Bonus skills:

    • Good understanding of modern programming environment
    • Experience with life science and healthcare software
    • Familiar with cloud-based enterprise software
    • Experience in both software startup and medical companies
    • Familiar with Box, Confluence, and GitHub
    • Comfortable developing content with Microsoft Office and Google docs
