Job Overview:
The Item Master is a technical product owner who enjoys solving complex business problems that directly impact multiple departments across the organization and has significant influence on successfully deploying items and location set up to ensure data flows correctly between systems.  The proper candidate will have the ability to thrive in a fast paced, dynamic team environment and is always looking for ways to improve efficiencies and processes for a positive customer experience. This role is responsible for working with the Inventory Control Analyst and Procurement Team members to complete tasks on time, and as a team, helping contribute to creating a collaborative environment to ensure issues are identified timely and a root cause plan is put into place to solve them. 

Essential Functions/Job Duties:

    • Responsible for item creation and management in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system  
    • Price and cost management 
    • Product launch timeline management  
    • Quality assurance system(s) testing 
    • Consult on system enhancements, limitations and help determine if development work is necessary to meet multi-channel business requirements 
    • Assist with ERP system integrations; responsible for successful item launch and office openings  
    • Formulary management across multiple channels for new and existing locations 
    • Manage unique item creation based on state and local regulatory needs 
    • Work collaboratively with cross functional teams to ensure Master Item List is current and supports business needs 
    • Lead Quarterly Inventory reconciliation process 
    • Data Analysis on Inventory Movement 
    • Assist with the Dashboard building process 
    • Lead Year End Inventory Audit Process 
    • Other Duties Assigned as needed 

Minimum Qualifications:

    • 2+ Years’ experience with ERP systems 
    • 1+ years IT product management experience. 

Education Requirements:

    • Bachelors Degree  

Preferred Qualifications:

    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and deadlines with accuracy 
    • Ability to master new and available technical applications  
    • Ability to influence and effectively interact with key stakeholders to meet business needs  
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
    • Experience with NetSuite preferred; experience in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and Systems Application Process (SAP) a plus 
    • Familiar with Microsoft Office 365, Word, Outlook  
    • Advanced Excel skills
