Work in a clean, safe, temperature controlled plant and have 3 day weekends. Machine Operators play an integral role in ensuring our machines are running at optimum capacity; Machine Operators assist in observing safe and efficient operations of equipment. This position has the support of any of the following; Manufacturing Line Leads, Spider, Production Supervisors and Management. We want you to succeed. Normal Schedule is 4:30pm to 2:30am Monday through Thursday with some overtime on Friday.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) equivalency
- 6 months experience in a highly physical, labor intensive position (ie. construction, distribution warehouse, equipment/machine operator, farmhand, freight handler or other positions which require continuous activity and lifting
- Ability to stand on concrete floors with fatigue mats for 8 to 12 hours at a time
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and to push or pull up to 400 pounds (181 kilograms) or equivalency utilizing a manual cart
- Able to frequently grasp objects. Must possess sufficient visual and audio acuity to work safely and accurately in an industrial environment
- Proficient in basic math and reading skills
- Must be able to work a full-time schedule, including some overtime as required
- Must be 18 years of age
- Must pass a post offer drug test and background check
