As a member for the Feed Production team, the Feed Production Operator is responsible for operating machinery including mixers, extruders and formers in the feed production area.

Job Duties

    • Operate mixers, extruders and formers
    • Accurately mix and produce all formulas including extruded, formed and cold formed products
    • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)
    • Responsible for food safety and cleanliness of all feed production areas and machinery
    • Meet quality standard and SQF guidelines
    • Participate in company-wide 5-S (Lean Manufacturing) program and training
    • Operate forklift
    • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

    • Able to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis
    • Weekend availability

Preferred Qualifications

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Basic math skills
    • Team player
    • Experience in manufacturing and production environments
    • 1-2 years of manufacturing production experience preferred

Physical Requirements

    • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
    • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
    • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.


    • 6:00am - 6:30pm rotating schedule
