As a Pre-sales Solution Lead, you will support our dynamic sales team to understand our clients’ business challenges and envision solutions that solve them. Every client is different, so solutions are never prescriptive; while we have developed methods of solving client challenges over the last decade, our solutions are tailored to each client. Therefore, you must be able to rapidly understand the root of a client’s challenge and propose the best solution. Once agreed with the client, you will elaborate the solution to create a fixed price engagement, defined in a statement of work.
As an Engagement Lead, you will be responsible for managing project delivery on engagements ranging from small teams of five to large teams of ~50 staff. You will lead a team of advisors, architects and subject matter experts to deliver the business outcome. You will build solid and collaborative relationships with senior client stakeholders, so you become their trusted advisor.
While primarily a Solution Lead role, our staff need to be skilled and experience at leading or contributing to engagements; most importantly to learn how our solutions work in practice.

You should be educated to, at least, a bachelor’s degree level, or you should be able to prove you have commensurate knowledge, skills and experience. You will probably have a degree in computer science, or one in a scientific field that includes significant information technology elements.
You will have exemplary communication skills. You must be able to document and articulate complex ideas, concepts and solutions to potentially adversarial audiences ranging from technologists to CxOs. You will be able to personally create compelling presentations using PowerPoint and write clear concise documents using Word.
You will have the knowledge and skills to craft engagements that transcend technology to deliver business outcomes. You will be able to provide clear, pragmatic advice tailored to a client’s circumstances. You will have designed solutions that embed security, reliability, ease of operation and maintenance.
You will have an organized and structured approach to program and project management. You will have used many management techniques to deliver programs on-time and on-budget, ranging from traditional waterfall through to agile.
Ideally you will have one or more cloud solution architecture level certifications from AWS, GCP or Azure. You may also have CISSP, PMP, PMI-ACP or CSM certifications.
You will have many years’ experience in pre-sales and engagement management. You will have been instrumental to winning deals from hundreds of thousands to multiple millions of dollars. You will have designed, documented and presented complex program, technology and operational proposals up to CxO level in highly charged, large organizations. You will have led small and large change programs in such organizations. You will be prepared to get your hands dirty as well as step back to guide and nurture your team.
A significant number of our clients are Financial Services organizations and many of our tribe have worked in this industry. While not imperative, you may have experience with financial business services and applications across the spectrum of retail banking, payments, trading and investment banking.
