About the Role
Machine operator is responsible for operating automation machines, ability to interpret HMI (Human Machine Interface), perform line clearance and end of lot close. Responsible for ensuring the machine produces high quality products, runs smoothly and at capacity, and is properly maintained. Attaining production goals, maintaining the workplace clean and safe, and reducing material scrap. Report machine issues to machine technicians and manufacturing supervisor. How You'll Make an Impact
- Understand and follows work instructions for the specific automation zone
- Comply with company QMS, safety,company policies and code of conduct
- Operate machinery and equipment according to work instructions
- Ensuring raw parts are loaded input trays and minimize downtime
- Perform quality control, follow reporting and recordkeeping procedures, and
- report problems to the supervisor.
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions
- Ability to work in a team
- Willingness to work in shifts (late or early hours, weekends, and overtime when necessary
- Ability to lift a minimum of 15 lbs
- Ability to perform line clearance for each start of the lot.
- Understand all aspects of LHR.
- Follows work instructions and standard operating procedures with accuracy.
On Your First Day We'd Like You to Have
- High School level equivalency (English reading/writing proficiency). 4 - 6yrs in an ISO environment (FDA regulated Medical Device industry is a plus).
- Minimum 5 years of related experience, preferably including highly complex volume manufacturing
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment working with tight deadlines
- Ability to proactively communicate consistently, clearly, and honestly;
- Strong attention to detail, self-motivation, and good organizational skills.
- Ability to multi-task and ability to work both as part of a team and independently.
- Proactive with a high sense of urgency and a drive for results.
It's Great If You Have
- Experience in operating Calvary robotics and PIA automation machines
- Microsoft excel skills, 5S, Kanban process & Practical Problem Solving
Salary Range
- $23/hour
- Compensation for the role is based on geographical location.
- Compensation also depends on a number of factors including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
