Job Objective
Conducts internal audits in order to ensure compliance with outside regulatory requirements and internal policies. Recommends change through presentation of facts and/or legislation.
Education
Bachelor's or Master's degree from a recognized university.
Internationally recognized auditing/IT security qualification such as CIA, CISA, CISSP etc.
Experience
Experienced practitioner able to work unsupervised
Key Responsibilities/Duties
Audit Compliance:  Deliver audit assignments at Vision Invest (including the subsidiary companies, if required). Develop individual audit plans and detailed scope, deliver the fieldwork, report findings and opinions, agree on corrective actions with auditees, and refer serious or contentious issues to the lead auditor.
Audit:  Work within established audit control systems to deliver specified outcomes or provide general support.
Plans and performs audit procedures, including reviewing and analysing evidences, and documenting internal controls, processes and procedures for Financial, Operational, Compliance and IT risks.
Regulatory Affairs:  Deliver pre-established outcomes and/or provide support services while operating within the organization's established regulatory and governance systems and protocols.
Regulatory & Compliance Management:  Investigate standard incidents using current regulatory and compliance processes, systems and procedures, and take action to solve immediate compliance issues. Advise more senior colleagues on more complex problems.
Information and Business Advice:  Resolve queries from internal or external customers or suppliers by providing information on complex processes and the related policies, referring to others where necessary for interpretation of policy.
Document Preparation:  Organize and prepare complex documents using a variety of computer applications such as Microsoft Office. Also responsible for gathering and summarizing data for special reports.
Work Scheduling and Allocation:  Design own monthly schedule and, if necessary, assign work to others in order to speed up office workflow and ensure high-priority tasks get done.
Personal Capability Building:  Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching. Develop and maintain an understanding of relevant technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.
Risk Management & Analysis:  Keep track of risk parameters, identifying any more deviations and reporting them to more senior colleagues. Involves working within established risk management systems.
Recommendations:  Advise managers how to apply a wide variety of existing procedures and precedents.
Work closely with functions/departments to review compliance of VII approved processes, policies and guidelines and report findings as per the approved audit plan.
Identifies, develops, and documents audit issues and recommendations using independent judgment concerning areas being reviewed.
