Support the SVP, Oil & Gas, by leading market intelligence and analytics efforts, focusing on gathering, analysing, and interpreting critical data to inform decision-making within Vision Invest’s oil and gas portfolio. Drive competitive insights, market trends, and performance metrics to support strategic initiatives and enhance Vision Invest’s position in the energy sector

12-15 years of relevant professional experience in market intelligence, analytics, or strategy within the oil and gas or energy sectors with a minimum of 7 years in managerial capacity; Experience in KSA / Middle East is preferred

Master’s degree in Business Administration, Energy Management, Finance, Economics, or equivalent
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related fields
Certification in data analytics (e.g., Certified Analytics Professional) or energy-related fields is desirable

Market Intelligence and Analytics
Lead the design and implementation of market intelligence frameworks to track trends, regulatory changes, and competitive dynamics in the oil and gas sector
Analyze global energy market trends, including pricing, supply-demand dynamics, and geopolitical risks, to inform strategic decisions
Develop robust forecasting models to predict market movements and assess implications for Vision Invest’s portfolio
Collaborate with the SVP, Oil & Gas to evaluate market entry strategies and identify emerging opportunities within the oil and gas value chain

Strategic Data Insights
Provide data-driven insights to the SVP, Oil & Gas, and executive leadership on portfolio performance, market positioning, and potential growth opportunities
Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) for the oil and gas portfolio, ensuring alignment with Vision Invest’s strategic goals
Monitor competitor activities and conduct benchmarking to evaluate Vision Invest’s market position

Stakeholder Support
Support the SVP in stakeholder engagements by providing analytics-based insights to influence policy advocacy, partnership discussions, and investment negotiations
Collaborate with Corporate Communications to ensure data-backed messaging in Vision Invest’s external communications and industry representations

Collaboration and Integration
Partner with internal teams to integrate market analytics into business planning, investment strategies, and operational initiatives
Work closely with M&A teams to assess potential acquisitions and divestments, providing detailed market and financial feasibility analyses

Innovation and Knowledge Management
Drive the adoption of advanced data analytics tools and methodologies within the team to enhance decision-making processes
Establish a knowledge management system to capture and disseminate key market insights and lessons learned across the organization

Investment Analysis
Conduct detailed feasibility studies and financial analysis of potential investments, divestments, or expansion initiatives
Evaluate market risks and opportunities for Vision Invest’s oil and gas projects, supporting investment recommendations to the P&CEO and Management Committee
