About You:
You're a self-starter that's extremely detail oriented. You're comfortable with using written instructions to assemble and test microfluidic devices. You're eager to self-inspect and identify issues proactively and fix them. You're energized by well organized and maintained production facilities. You're a strong communicator and team player, ready to coordinate with our cross-functional team to make sure we hit deliverables.

What you'll do:

    • Support the R&D and engineering teams with various mechanical design, fabrication, and testing needs;
    • Rapid prototyping of various components for testing and validation with the aim of transferring to manufacturing;
    • Fabrication of various micro and macro parts using various fabrications techniques;
    • Adhere to ISO Standards: 13485, as well as clean room and safety standards.

What you need:

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical engineering, Mechatronics engineering, Systems engineering, Physics or relevant fields;
    • Hands-on experience in small-scale device assembly industry with particular interest in experience gained in pharmaceutical, biomedical, IVD or other related industry;
    • High level of proficiency in understanding engineering drawings, handling general lab tools and equipment;
    • Attention to details, highly organized, flexible, persistent and proactive way of working;
    • Strong problem-solving skills with a proven track record of fast learning and multitasking ability;
    • Strong grasp of work safety requirements/regulations and quality GMP/ISO methodology.

Bonus points for:

    • Clean room experience;
    • Biotech/medtech industry experience;
    • Experience in Fusion 360, AutoCAD, or SolidWorks;
    • Appreciation of puns!
