As Head of Information Security (d/f/m) your responsibilities will include:
- defining and executing the company’s information security strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices
- building and scaling an information security team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and technical excellence
- owning all compliance efforts for vivenu, running regular internal audits, coordinating IT security operations with Compliance, Risk, and the management board, and ensuring a unified, effective security posture.
- leading incident response and recovery efforts, managing communication during crises, conducting root-cause analysis, and ensuring lessons learned are applied to strengthen defences
- implementing and maintaining governance practices such as security risk assessments, audits, penetration tests, and third-party reviews, and coordinating with risk, compliance, and senior leadership
- developing and maintaining the company's information security policies and roadmap, and setting measurable objectives such as SLAs and KPIs for threat detection, incident resolution, and security awareness training
- partnering with engineering, IT, product, and business leaders to embed security into the development lifecycle, enabling teams to innovate securely and efficiently
What you will need to succeed in this role:
- proven experience in building and Information Security efforts in fast-growing environments
- experience with compliance frameworks and regulations (SOC2 or ISO 27001, GDPR, PCI-DSS), and the ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into practical, business-aligned controls
- strong foundation in security operations and risk management, including incident response, threat detection, and vulnerability management, with the ability to prioritize and act decisively under pressure
- outstanding communication skills and ability to explain technical risk in clear terms to executives while engaging engineers and business stakeholders as trusted partners
- resilience and adaptability, thriving in dynamic environments and turning security challenges into structured, actionable plans with confidence and clarity
- a mindset that sees security not as an enabler, protecting the organisation while empowering innovation at scale
- relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM or similar) strongly preferred
