As an Accounts Receivable Accountant you will...
- support our customers in their onboarding process to our platform and to our payment service providers
- generate accurate and timely invoices to customers based on contractual terms and agreements
- align with internal stakeholders to ensure comprehensive accounting for complex transactions
- collect payment from customers and accurately record it into the system
- monitor and follow up with the customer on overdue balances
- communicate with customers and maintain professional and courteous interactions to address inquiries, resolve billing discrepancies, and provide exceptional customer service
- strengthen and grow relationships with customers by providing accurate and clear expectations of billing details, payment terms, and contractual agreements
- communicate discrepancies to the management team, identify slow-paying customers, and recommend collection candidates
We are looking for candidates that...
- have experience in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration roles with a corresponding focus
- have an understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and the overall financial health of the organization
- have excellent written and verbal communication skills (in German & English) to communicate with internal and external stakeholders
- be proficient with accounting software, spreadsheet software (like Microsoft Excel), and potentially enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
- are detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in data entry, record-keeping, and tracking invoices, payments, and discrepancies
- have an ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively
- have a willingness to commit to our customers and maintain close relationships
- have experience in accounts receivable (or accounts payable), preferably within a medium-sized company and/or an accounting firm
