Responsibilities
- Provide daily support through the use of IBM Cognos software suite of products to include Framework Manager, Report Studio and Query Studio to deliver historical, current and predictive views of the customer's business operations
- Translate business needs and requirements into data analytic and reporting solutions to deliver meaningful information to the end users
- Work within IBM Cognos to design, test, and implement business intelligence (BI) solutions, including dashboards, drill down/through-paths, and reports
- Provide detailed guidance concerning reports and data analysis
- Retrieve, scrutinize, and formalize presentable data, information and reports which are delivered to users via multiple delivery methods to include Web(HTML),PDF and Excel
- Work with the data, data structure, data definitions and relationships, in IBM Cognos, and TOAD to ensure common understanding between all the data to enable quality and effective reporting and analysis
- Perform code peer reviews for fellow programmers; systematic processes of working with fellow programmers and checking each other’s code for mistakes
Requirements
- Must be willing to work on-site in San Antonio, TX
- Must have Active Secret Clearance
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent experience and certifications will also be considered.

- Possess good knowledge of SQL, packages, triggers and procedures
- Ability to work with complex information systems and data sets to manipulate and present data in order to make that data actionable by senior management through visual encoding, data presentation and high-level data communication skills
- Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing with management, peers and customers· Ability to multi-task. Employee will be working on projects and reporting on progress and completion of tasks
- Ability to create complex reports in Business Intelligence software tools, preferably IBM Cognos 10 and/or Cognos 11 to include Report Studio, Query Studio, and Framework Manager
- Good knowledge of SQL, PLSQL, Stored Procedures and Packages
- Knowledge of Data Warehouse principles, Star Schemas, DataMart· Knowledge of ETL tools· Working knowledge of Toad for Oracle, PLSQL, Microsoft .Net Framework
$120,000 - $140,000 a year
