We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounts Payable Specialist to manage our company’s vendor payment process and ensure accurate and timely financial transactions. This role is critical to maintaining strong vendor relationships, supporting financial integrity, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations. In this role, you will be a key member of the management company finance team, reporting to our Senior Finance Director.

Responsibilities

    • Ensure all incoming invoices are received and processed according to company policies and receiving appropriate approvals by internal stakeholders
    • Managing accounts payable using accounting software and other programs
    • Perform weekly, bi-weekly and monthly reconciliations for internal records, banks, and credit card systems
    • Maintain vendor files, W-9 records, and support 1099 reporting
    • Support the team in closing month-end financials statements
    • Assist with annual audit processes such as updating and maintaining supporting schedules
    • Collaborate on updating the annual functional team budgets
    • Assist with bespoke projects to improve our management company finances operations and processes

Requiremenets

    • 2+ years in public or private accounting
    • Proven expertise in managing Accounts Payable
    • Understanding of US GAAP
    • Proficient with enterprise-level accounting software such as Workday, SAP, Oracle and Quickbooks
    • Experience with Accounts Payable software such as Bill.com or Tipalti
The base salary range for this position is $85,000 to $100,000 in the location(s) of this posting. Individual salaries are determined through a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography. Base salary does not include other forms of total compensation such as bonus compensation and other benefits. Our benefits package includes medical, dental and vision coverage, life and AD&D insurance, 20 days of paid time off, 9 sick days, and a 401(k) plan with a company match.
