As a Technical Program Manager, you will partner with a talented and accomplished group of technical managers on our research, engineering, and systems teams to lead the strategic alignment and technical delivery of large-scale initiatives that span bleeding-edge machine learning methods, as well as computational and data processing frameworks. As a generalist and outcomes owner, you have the ability to fill any gap needed to deliver, while driving sustainable organizational and process improvements. This role is a means to make a difference: you will play an indispensable role in ensuring the effectiveness of our technical organization and its ability to deliver against an ambitious roadmap.

Responsibilities

    • Manage a portfolio of complex technical projects that involve significant cross-team collaboration and dependencies
    • Lead and manage the end-to-end lifecycle of technical programs, from initiation thru launch and afterward
    • Drive the prioritization, planning and scheduling of work for assigned projects
    • Provide ongoing transparency on progress against key milestones for various technical stakeholders, always holding a clear picture of project status
    • Coordinate synchronized delivery against plan across multiple teams, identifying and alleviating bottlenecks, surfacing second-order consequences, and helping teams prioritize, collaborate, and execute effectively
    • Determine and implement best practices, ensuring that lessons learned are incorporated into subsequent projects

Requirements

    • Minimum of 3 years of technical program management experience including demonstrated success leading and delivering complex cross-team initiatives
    • Solid understanding of best practices in project managing software deployments in fast-moving production environments
    • Exceptional demonstrated collaboration, coordination, communication (written and verbal) and organizational skills
    • Ability to adapt communication style to different audiences, including senior management, technical experts and non-technical stakeholders
    • History of operating independently across multiple teams, demonstrating critical thinking and data-driven decision-making
    • Experience developing, implementing and managing KPIs/OKRs, dashboards and analytics 
    • Minimum intermediate level knowledge of digital tools, such as Jira and Confluence or similar

Preferred

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related STEM field or equivalent work experience
    • Familiarity with Agile methodologies
    • Interest in Machine Learning
    • Relevant certifications (PMP, CSM, CPO, etc.)
The base salary range for this position is $140,000 - $160,000 in the location(s) of this posting. Individual salaries are determined through a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography. Base salary does not include other forms of total compensation such as bonus compensation and other benefits. Our benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, life and AD&D insurance, 20 days of paid time off, 9 sick days, and a 401(k) plan with a company match.
