As a Workplace Experience Lead you will own and elevate the daily operations of our Berkeley office, creating an environment that is welcoming, efficient, and aligned with our culture. In this role, you’ll ensure our physical workspace runs smoothly while leading key programs that enhance the employee experience—from office presentation and food programs to events and onboarding.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in high-ownership environments, brings operational rigor, and enjoys making day-to-day experiences better for others.

Responsibilities

    • Complete the work for office-related requests from colleagues on time and in a high quality manner.
    • Own and improve the employee experience and workplace programs; including lunch, snacks, swag, and seating
    • Manage vendors and day porters to ensure timely delivery, consistency across kitchens, floors, and shared spaces and issue resolution
    • Lead facilities projects and respond to maintenance or emergency needs with urgency
    • Support new hire onboarding through workspace setup and warm welcome
    • Plan and execute events—both routine and high-visibility—including occasional evening activities
    • Partner with People Ops, Corporate IT, and Executive Support to maintain workplace standards
    • Maintain systems for space tracking, inventory, and request management

Requirements

    • 5+ years in workplace, facilities, or hospitality operations, ideally in fast-paced, high-touch setting
    • Ability to work onsite 5 days per week with occasional evening events support
    • Complete the work for office-related requests from colleagues on time and in a high quality manner.
    • Strong ownership mindset and proven ability to manage projects independently
    • Proactive approach to solving problems and driving improvements 
    • Excellent follow-through, with a record of executing under pressure and juggling competing priorities
    • Skilled communicator with attention to tone, clarity, and stakeholder expectations
    • Service-driven, collaborative, and energized by making day-to-day experiences better
    • Experience with vendor management and building operations
    • Detail-oriented and process-minded; able to improve and document systems
    • Eye for design, presentation, and the “feel” of a space—bonus for creative flair
The base salary range for this position is $90,000 to $110,000 in the location(s) of this posting. Individual salaries are determined through a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography. Base salary does not include other forms of total compensation such as bonus compensation and other benefits. Our benefits package includes medical, dental and vision coverage, life and AD&D insurance, 20 days of paid time off, 9 sick days, and a 401(k) plan with a company match.
