VOLKA FINANCE TEAM / ASSISTANT FINANCIAL CONTROLLER
We are seeking an Assistant Financial Controller who provides support in the day-to-day activities and tasks necessary for the smooth operations in our financial team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare detailed monthly financial reports, including profit and loss (P&L), balance sheet (BS), and cash flow (CF) statements
- Ensure all financial information is recorded comprehensively, accurately, and in a timely manner
- Maintain proper and up-to-date accounting records
- Ensure compliance with Cyprus taxation laws, including VAT, Payroll, and OSS (One-Stop Shop)
- Collect, verify, and manage financial documentation such as invoices and receipts.
- Liaise with external auditors in providing relevant information for the monthly and annual audits.
REQUIREMENTS
- Holder of a University Degree in Accounting & Finance or a related field, with a Master’s degree being a plus; being qualified or partially qualified in ACCA will be considered an advantage
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting demonstrated experience in financial reporting budgeting and analysis
- Prior experience with Quickbooks accounting software is a plus
- Excellent knowledge of Excel is a must
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Fluency in both Greek and English is essential.
