At Volta we’re on a mission to accelerate the adoption of the electric vehicle.  Volta's award-winning charging stations benefit brands, consumers, and real-estate locations by providing valuable advertising space to businesses and convenient charging to drivers. Strategically located in places consumers already visit, Volta's chargers are currently the most used electric vehicle charging stations in the United States. To date our stations have offset over 37 million pounds of CO2, equivalent to planting almost 300,000 trees. 

We are seeking a Product Marketing Manager to join our Marketing Team to develop go-to-market strategies, plans and programs to drive the growth of our Media business. In this position, you will become the expert on our Media market and the customer segments we serve within it. You will represent the voice of the Media Customer internally and work cross functionally to deliver market insight, proactive programs and campaigns, and measurable business results.

In this new role, you will partner with the Media Sales Team to develop and execute strategies that position, package, and promote Volta’s unique value for Media customers. You will work closely with teams across the organization to powerfully communicate our innovative business model and products and shape their future scope. As Product Marketing Manager for Volta’s Media products, you will have the opportunity to drive meaningful change in a high growth company poised to transform the world of electric vehicles and the future of digital out of home media.

This position will be based in NY or SF and will report to the Sr Director Product Marketing, Media. 


    • Be the expert on Volta’s media customers (across agency, brand, and partner segments) and their customer journey
    • Act as the voice of the customer within the organization and partner with product to define customer requirements and inform future product development
    • Become an expert on Volta’s competitors and their products and deliver this expertise to the organization
    • Align with sales and product partners to establish and deliver against the Media Product Launch Calendar
    • Create product positioning, messaging, and narratives and oversee development of content across channels and platforms
    • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies and programs that drive awareness and consideration of Volta’s media products, win new business, and support growth of existing accounts
    • Measure, monitor, and optimize content and campaign performance using a data driven approach
    • Work closely with key stakeholders to monitor product feedback and improve customer satisfaction


    • 4-6 years of relevant experience in marketing or product marketing in Media, Ad Tech, or Mar Tech (expertise in Digital Out of Home is a plus)
    • Proven track record of managing product launches and life cycles towards measurable business value
    • Collaborative nature and experience working with Product Management, Sales, and other cross functional stakeholders
    • Phenomenal writing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to translate features and facts into benefits and business value
    • Experience with the latest marketing tools for generating customer insights and demand (analytics, digital marketing, online surveys, etc.)
    • Results driven and highly analytical approach
    • Familiarity with relevant trade groups and industry trends
