At Volta we’re on a mission to accelerate the adoption of the electric vehicle. Volta creates city-wide free electric vehicle charging networks in major metropolitan areas. Our charging networks are free-to-use, free to our property partners, and monetized through brand sponsorships and digital media content.

We are seeking an Account Executive to join our Media Sales Team. Brands that partner withVolta are driving the future. Your digital sales experience, communication skills, and analytical abilities, combined with your passion for making a difference, will help shape Volta’s vision. As a core part of a growing sales Team, you will not only help companies leverage Volta’s smart technology platform to reach key audiences, but help forward-thinking companies grow and communities transform.

This position will be based in Atlanta, Georgia and will report to the VP of Media Sales, East.

Responsibilities

    • Develop new business through regular interactions with clients and proactively seek new partnership opportunities
    • Develop and execute a strategic account approach, vertically and horizontally navigating both the client direct and/or agency relationships
    • Leverage a strong understanding of the Atlanta and Southeast regional market landscape and demonstrate how the Volta offering can assist them to achieve their marketing and business objectives
    • Conduct storytelling presentations that highlight Volta’s unique value proposition
    • Meet/exceed expectations to identify, qualify, and cold call prospective clients, build a robust pipeline, and close business
    • Consistently meet or exceed individual quarterly sales targets
    • Develop solid relationships with key decision makers at local businesses and their ad agencies
    • Effectively identify trends in the local marketplace and share internally with sales management, marketing, and product teams
    • Partner with Account Management, Client Services, Marketing and Research teams to achieve clients’ objectives
    • Effectively report on the Southeast market account development and sales progress viaSalesforce

Qualifications

    • PASSION - for Volta, for sales, for success
    • Forward thinker, entrepreneurial by nature, proactive, high energy and high integrity work habits
    • 5+ years media sales and/or agency experience; local business or OOH/DOOH agency experience a plus
    • Experience working in fast-paced, start-up/growth stage company
    • Goal-oriented personality with a commitment to team success, and a strong work ethic and the ability to communicate best practices internally
    • In-depth experience within the Southeast
    • Strategic media sales experience including the ability to understand Volta’s bigger value and effectively sell our media & technology platform
    • A reputation for being an enthusiastic, energetic, effective networker who enjoys the sales process and is committed to building client relationships and growing credibility for Volta
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as great listening skills
    • Detail-oriented, strong organizational skills, and the ability to be entrepreneurial, work independently and operate in an open and fluid environment
    • Proficient in MS Office and Salesforce or similar CRM
