As a Site Sales Director, you will focus on large, strategic real estate and retail clients. You will oversee the development and execution of our commercial real estate sales, and engage property owners, asset managers, developers and property management companies at a senior director level to drive strategic partnerships. You will coordinate with various sales reps and cross-functional resources throughout the country to track progress and performance against sales goals. As the primary business relationship manager, you will be responsible for creating long-term account plans, revenue projections and other milestones to demonstrate growth and strategic alignment with our media sales team.

Responsibilities:

    • Become a key member of the site sales team that sources and closes new commercial real estate and retail accounts, and further develops a set of retail and property owner accounts that are at the forefront of disrupting the EV charging industry
    • Focus on establishing trust and build long-term site partner relationships
    • Negotiate business and legal terms with potential site partners according to Company guidelines
    • Be an expert at utilizing company resources and being innovative to help close transactions
    • Partner and collaborate with cross-functional teams, analyze market opportunities, shape go-to market strategies and identify product needs
    • Liaise with retailers and property owners to lead status meetings between the partner and Volta Operations and Marketing teams to ensure commitments are met
    • Leverage Salesforce, capture data, and report on a weekly basis to best serve our partners and to insure communication and relationship are aligned across the organizations
    • Accurately forecast revenue and track deal closures in Salesforce
    • Create process improvements within the sales process and elevate Volta’s reporting/analytics capabilities
    • Escalate issues and conduct post-mortems to ensure our partners have the best experience possible
    • Local travel is required to maintain and grow customer relationships

Qualifications:

    • 6+ years of sales and account acquisition experience
    • Bachelor’s degree
    • Experience winning and managing large customer accounts
    • Strong Salesforce experience managing leads, opportunities, and tasks are essential
    • Ability to manage multiple time-sensitive projects
    • Extremely resourceful, a self-starter who is comfortable working independently
    • Solid business judgment in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
    • Exceptional customer service skillsStrong written and presentation skills with high attention to details
    • Willingness to take initiative and uncover opportunities and bring them to closure
    • Excellent organizational, project management and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to multi-task, work successfully under pressure, and effectively manage their time
    • MS Office, and Google Apps skills
    • Proven experience transacting large commercial real estate lease agreements, a plus
    • Honed sales skills through real estate sales, retail investment sales, or leasing at a major CRE firm, a plus
    • Commercial real estate experience selling to and working with property managers, asset managers, facility managers, project managers, and other real estate professionals, a plus
