THE ROLE:
We’re a startup, about to deliver our Instrument and platform to early-adopting customers this year. We’re manufacturing in-house instead of contracting it out overseas to ensure quality and allow us to keep experimenting and continuously improving.

The Assembly Technician for Reagents & Consumables is one of the first hires for the Manufacturing team, responsible for hand-packing a variety of reagent kits and scientific consumables that our customers will use with our Instrument.

Day To Day and Year 1:

    • Packing up the consumables: Placing tubes, trays, and microplates into custom packaging
    • Owning the final picking and assembly before they’re shipped out to customers

    • It’s a fairly repetitive role that will be a great fit for someone who enjoys the zen of repetitive tasks, and wants a fun work environment where you can put on a podcast or audiobook and go to town building a variety of small products.

Lots of change is coming: how our products are being made now will change in 6 months, you’ll help us iterate to make building them faster and easier. We’ll also have more variety of products developing in the coming months and years.

Within 3 months you’ll… Complete onboarding, understand the product, and competently build the kits with no oversight

By 6+ months you’ll be… Participating in logistics improvement cycles & partnering with UX team to evolve packaging and efficiency
