Team

The Engineering & Data team builds innovative tech products and platforms to support the impressive growth of their gaming and consumer apps which allow Voodoo to stay at the forefront of the mobile industry. The Engineering & Data team plays a key role in Voodoo’s long-term strategy. It enables Voodoo to both accelerate product diversification and provide a state of the art growth-engine to distribute and scale our games. They create innovative solutions that drive growth with a pragmatic approach, ranging from simple searching to complex machine learning systems.

Role

As a Quality Assurance Engineer at Voodoo, you will be responsible for creating and implementing a strategy for quality coordination and testing as well as suggesting solutions to identified quality problems.
You will be in charge of implementing new and more innovative ways of catching bugs before they hit our stakeholders (tools implementation, process automation, etc).

    • Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
    • Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
    • Apply and implement QA best practices inside the team to help improve the overall quality of the product
    • Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
    • Work closely with the internal stakeholders to define and adapt the testing strategy

Profile

    • Be autonomous, capable of taking up tasks from start to end with minimal assistance
    • Capacity to analyze data, identify problems, prioritize them, create and review processes and implement solutions quickly
    • Experience with doing any kind of SDK testing
    • Experience with testing mobile apps. Mobile SDK testing is a plus
    • Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
    • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
    • A strong communicator capable of coordinating information across multiple teams, technical and non-technical (Data team, SDK team, or Marketing team...)
    • Fluent English (speaking and writing)
