As an HR Business Partner, you will provide advice to leadership regarding HR best practices to maximize employee efficiencies. You will champion a diverse workforce throughout the employee life cycle and foster a culture of continuous improvement through performance management.

You will...
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with legal as needed/required.
- Partner with senior leadership to develop and implement effective HR policies and practices that will support the strategic growth of the business.
- Educate, coach, and partner with managers on performance management and employee development goals.
- Assist international employees with related HR matters.
- Provide guidance and input on organizational structure, workforce planning, and succession planning.
- Develop, evaluates, and monitors training programs to ensure training objectives are met.
- Participate in the continual development of HR programs, such as retention, compensation, benefits, and learning & development.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience resolving complex employee relations issues.
- Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or related field.
- Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational design, employee relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws.
- SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential, Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) or ability to obtain certification within one year of employment.
- Must have high integrity and handle HR information with a high degree of confidentiality.
- Deep understanding of federal and state payroll regulations and requirements as well as HR best practices and policies.
- Keen attention to detail, process execution ,and follow-through with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Simultaneously manage multiple assignments and ability to meet HR milestones.
- Ability to analyze and resolve problems in a logical and effective manner.
- Excellent communication skills in a fast-paced environment consisting of technical, interpersonal, and virtual contact.
- Open-minded and collaborative team player with the willingness to help others.
- Passionate about self-driving technologies, solving hard problems, and creating innovative solutions.
The US yearly salary range for this role is: $130,000 - $219,000 USD in addition to competitive perks & benefits. Waabi (US) Inc.’s yearly salary ranges are determined based on several factors in accordance with the Company’s compensation practices. The salary base range is reflective of the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations.  Note: The Company provides additional compensation for employees in this role, including equity incentive awards and an annual performance bonus.
