Wachter is accepting applications for Audio Visual Estimators. Experienced AV designers/engineers would be a great fit. Looking for motivated self-starters with field, design, or estimating background in Audio Visual. AV Technicians and Engineers are encouraged to apply.

Requirements:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- 5-year minimum industry experience in audio-visual system sales, management, service, or installation; or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience and/or certifications with AV manufacturers and equipment including but not limited to: Crestron, Biamp, Extron, Atlona, Sure, and Cisco.
- CTS certifications are preferred but not required.
- Able to define requirements, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Self-motivated, able to meet deadlines and maintain quality of work under pressure.
- Able to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form.
- A good understanding of the program and commission-controlled A/V solutions requirements.
- Excellent communication skills; verbal and written.
- Proven ability to follow instructions and focused attention to detail.
- Proficient with the use of computers, including email, spreadsheets, PDF documentation, and databases Microsoft Office programs.
- Excel Skills are a plus.
- Valid Driver’s License. A current US Passport would be a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with ensuring customer profile documents are maintained and updated.
- Stay up to date on AV technologies and installation practices.
- Assist the Systems Engineering and Sales Depts. to develop technical solutions that meet customer requirements.
- Communicate effectively with commercial customers regarding their AV requirements and budgets.
- Design a fully functional audio and visual solution from a set of construction drawings or a site survey.
- Work effectively with manufacturing and industry partners.
- A good methodical approach to tasks, ability, and interest to learn new technologies.
- Required to continue to learn new Audio-Visual solutions.
- Understanding electrical limitations with respect to Audio Visual is a plus.
- Work with the rest of the AV team to evaluate new products and services.
- Maintain the company’s high standard of quality and professionalism with regard to workmanship, customer relations, coworkers, behavior, and appearance.
- Perform any other duties not specifically stated herein, but which your supervisor may assign.
$70,000 - $90,000 a year
