Position Description:

We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our IT Team to improve infrastructure in our Detroit office. A bachelors degree is required. The candidate must have three to five years related experience and also be self-motivated, proficient in Microsoft office, technologically savvy, experience with Wrike, PowerApps and familiarity in IT Service Management (ITIL) is a plus. A flexible, hybrid work schedule is available after 30 days of employment. 

 
Typical Responsibilities include:

Analysis/Requirement:

    • Analyze and document business processes and requirements.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business and functional requirements.
    • Translate requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows.

Communication:

    • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and objectives.
    • Facilitate communication between technical teams and business units.
    • Work closely with developers and QA to ensure requirements are understood and implemented correctly

Project Planning/Delivery:

    • Develop and maintain detailed project plans and timelines.
    • Tracking project timelines and scope for on time delivery.
    • Support the development and integration of business systems and applications.
    • Support testing efforts by reviewing test cases and validating deliverables.

Agile:

    • Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as backlog grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
    • Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for management.

Process Change and Improvement:

    • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
    • Assist in change management and user training as needed.
    • Provide training and support for end-users on new business processes and systems

Self:

    • Candidates must continually update job knowledge by participating in education opportunities and training.
    • Candidates must maintain a safe working environment

Education

    • Bachelor's Degree in a related field

Skills Required:

    • Three to five years of experience in business analysis or a related field.
    • Familiarity with .NET-based applications and modern front-end frameworks (TypeScript, React).
    • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Experience with tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar work tracking systems.

    • Proven knowledge of database concepts and SQL.
    • Experience with Microsoft products suite
    • Strong knowledge of current IT systems and business software.
    • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Experience with data analysis and visualization tools, a plus.
