Position Description:

We are looking for a Professional Landscape Architect/Project Manager to join our Community Design Team to improve infrastructure in our Tampa office. The candidate must have Professional Landscape Architect license, a bachelor's degree in landscape architecture and have at least ten years of related experience, with a focus on business development. The candidate must also be self-motivated, work well with others, and have excellent writing, organizational, and communication skills. Typical responsibilities include:

Typical responsibilities include:

    • Provide leadership on various types of projects (urban design, public space design, land development, recreation projects, etc.) from initial project pursuits through construction document phase
    • Develop design plans for urban planning, park and urban design projects
    • Articulate ideas through hand sketching and delineation
    • Perform the required evaluation, selection, and modification of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to meet the project needs
    • Prepare renderings, maps and report graphics
    • Perform site analysis
    • Prepare construction documents
    • Assist in master plan analysis
    • Assist in writing proposals and technical presentations
    • Deliver presentations at public meetings
    • Research existing land use
    • Prepare project specifications
    • Research and complete permits as necessary
    • Estimate construction costs
    • Document design changes and communications
    • Attend council or commission meetings
    • Observe work in progress on-site as needed
    • Prepare design cost estimates
    • Prepare project status reports
    • Attend various meetings (client, pre-design, pre-construction, staff, public, etc.)
    • Maintain excellent client relations
    • Maintain a safe working environment 

Education:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Landscape Architecture required

Skills/Experience:

    •  10 years of related experience required
    • Professional Landscape Architect license required
