Position Description:
 
We are looking for a Field Technician to join our ICE team to improve infrastructure in our South East Michigan offices. Candidates must have a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, possess their own reliable transportation, and must be able to work in all weather conditions. Experience in the construction trades as well as the ability to read site plans, and service designs is desired, but not required. Excellent technical writing, organization and communication skills are essential. Candidates must be self-motivated and able to work well with others. 

Typical responsibilities include:

    • Performs residential site visits in South East-Michigan with potential to do additional site visits throughout the state of Michigan
    • Corresponds in-person, phone and via email with the public
    • Takes measurements and prepares sketches
    • Provides multiple electronic updates throughout the day
    • Maintain excellent public and client relations
    • Maintain a safe working environment
    • Travel up to 1,200 miles per week

Education:

    • High school diploma or GED required

Skills/Experience:

    • 0 to 3 years of related experience required
    • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is required
    • Experience in the construction trades as well as the ability to read site plans, and service designs is desired
