Position Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Service Desk intern to join our team. The ideal candidate should be pursuing a bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field, and preferred candidates will be in their last year of school. Having familiarity with personal computer hardware and software configurations is not necessary, but preferred. Candidates must be self-motivated, very organized, work well with others, and have excellent communication skills.
Typical responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide HelpDesk support.
- Assist in computer troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Escalate complex problems to the appropriate IT team member to expedite resolution.
- Troubleshoot server and network issues.
- Maintain a safe working environment.
Education:
- Must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field
Skills/Experience:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills are required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team is required
