Position Description:
We are looking for a Full-Stack Developer to join our IT Team to improve infrastructure in our Detroit office. The candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field with at least 5 years of experience in software development and at least 5 years of business system support. A flexible hybrid work schedule is available after 30 days of employment.
Typical responsibilities include:
- Assist with the development of internal SharePoint pages with embedded applications
- Assist with the rapid development of business applications in the Microsoft Power Platform
- Assist with financial reporting projects (SQL 2016, SSIS, SSRS, Microsoft Power Automate)
- Support the development of the company Intranet and business system integrations
- Develop, administer, and maintain key business metric applications
- Develop integrations and interfaces for Microsoft Office products, cloud and mobile applications, and for core engineering applications and end-users
- Develop and maintain written and visual end-user training material and provide end-user training for a variety of business systems
- Provide Help Desk phone support and be accountable for the response and diagnosis of end-user issues including incoming emails and phone calls to the Help Desk
- Occasional travel between Wade Trim locations to provide training and support services
- Maintain job knowledge by participating in education opportunities and training
- Exhibit discretion with confidential information
- Maintain excellent client relations
- Maintain a safe working environment
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience
Skills/Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in software development is required.
- 5+ years of experience in business system support is required.
- Portal development and programming experience in Java, JavaScript (Node.js), Typescript (SPFx, React), Visual Studio Code, HTML/CSS, C#, Microsoft SQL and Agile/Scrum methodologies is required.
- Proven knowledge of database concepts using SQL and NoSQL (SQL Server, ArangoDB) and knowledge of Microsoft Power System (PowerApps, PowerBi, and Power Automate) is required.
- Experience with Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SRSS) is required.
- Knowledge of current Microsoft products and online applications is required.
- Candidates must also be self-motivated, work well with others, and have excellent writing, organizational, and communication skills.
