We do this by designing, developing, and testing products and services specifically tailored to our community’s needs and delivering on the promise of great customer service and an easy, practical shopping experience.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Part-Time Graphic Designer plays a crucial role in continuing to bring distinctive, creative assets to life that have elevated BEVEL above its competitive set since the inception of the brand. Reporting to the Creative Director, this individual will develop compelling visual assets that strengthen our brand identity and engage our audience across multiple platforms. This role will primarily support Marketing activities, but will also work closely with cross-functional teams, including eCommerce and Retail, to support requests as needed.
This is a part-time, hybrid position based in Atlanta, with preference given to applicants located in the Atlanta area. While many creative responsibilities can be completed remotely, regular in-person collaboration for project-based work or team meetings in Atlanta are required.
The ideal candidate is a creative, detail-oriented individual who brings new ideas and style to everything they do and can support a wide variety of creative requests. Key Responsibilities
- Design & Illustration: Create high-quality sketches, illustrations, and posters for marketing and educational purposes.
- Advertising & Social Media: Design advertisements, visual layouts, and digital assets for paid and organic social campaigns.
- Product Education: Develop step-by-step instructional guides and manuals to help users effectively utilize our products.
- Brand Identity: Collaborate with the creative and marketing teams to refine and maintain Bevel’s visual identity, ensuring consistency in fonts, color palettes, and layout across all touchpoints.
- Creative Execution: Support the development of e-commerce visuals, campaign assets, and website design elements to enhance overall brand presence.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)
- Strong experience with Figma for digital design and prototyping
- Ability to illustrate, sketch, and create informative graphics
- Experience designing for e-commerce, digital marketing, and social media
- A strong eye for layout, typography, and color, with an understanding of brand consistency across visual materials
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational skills, with high attention to detail and follow-through.
- Strong multitasking skills; ability to manage details without losing sight of the big picture
- Exceptional communication skills and professionalism in all interactions
- Enthusiasm for learning, openness to feedback, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience in a CPG or start-up environment is strongly preferred
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or certificate in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Digital Media, or a related field, or currently pursuing one (3rd- or 4th-year students are encouraged to apply)
- Must have a strong portfolio demonstrating creative thinking, technical skills, and attention to detail
$20 - $28 an hour
This is an in-house, part-time, W-2 position expected to work between 10 to 29 hours per week. The hourly rate ranges from $20 to $28 per hour, with higher rates considered based on location and experience.
As a temp-to-hire role, strong performance may lead to full-time employment in the future, subject to business needs.
