Reporting to an Engineering Manager, the Product Software Engineer will work on delivering critical features for our web application, and will partner closely with other engineers, product managers, designers, and our customer success team to fully understand the problems of our users and iterate on solutions. People in this role own the product and technical features that allow Machine Learning engineers to understand their data better and collaborate effectively.
Responsibilities
- Lead new product initiatives that empower ML engineers to collaborate and share information
- Collaborate with others on complex, technical, and performance challenges on our frontend
- Proactively find ways to improve processes and collaborate with team members or engaged users
- Focus on our end users and listen to customer feedback in order to deliver value
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience with modern web technologies such as React, Next.js, and GraphQL
- 3+ years of strong software engineering fundamentals and knowledge of at least 1 modern programming language (Java, Go, Python, C++, etc)
- Experience building high-quality products end to end - from technical design, implementation, testing, and launch
- An ability to navigate ambiguity and reach a clear understanding of problems affecting our users
- Ability to synthesize complex requirements into concrete features and milestones
- Interest in the AI/ML space, and a desire to continue to learn
