The Director of Partner Marketing will be responsible for building and delivering a comprehensive partner marketing model that enables the development of multiple joint marketing plans with named, strategic technology partners and Systems Integrators. These jointly developed partner marketing plans will be incorporated into the overall alliance plans of our strategic partnerships and will ultimately result in the overall growth and success of these partners and WANdisco. This role will collaborate closely with leadership from our business development, sales, customer success and marketing teams. This self-starter individual should be strong in strategic business planning, communications, marketing messaging development and have the ability to balance multiple projects in a very fast-paced environment. 

Key Qualifications

    • 7+ years of experience in a channel/partner marketing role 
    • Experience working with Microsoft, Amazon Web Services and/or Google Cloud Platform and their System Integrator partners preferred
    • Experience working in or with top-tier channel partners 
    • Knowledge of SFDC preferred
    • Understanding of the Principles of Account-Based Marketing required
    • Self-motivated and well organized with experience working across a globally distributed team
    • Ability to travel approximately 35% of the time 


    • Deliver and govern a partner marketing planning model that enables the WANdisco global channel team to develop partner specific joint market plans by strategic partner, and model to include overall channel budget development and governance, company partner marketing annual calendar and ROI model for monitoring investments
    • Work with directly with WANdisco channel team and strategic partners to deliver partner specific marketing plans that will be published as part of the overall partnership business plan
    • Collaborate and drive execution of the partner integrated marketing plan with the partner directly and internally across the channel, marketing, sales and business development teams of WANdisco
    • Manage overall channel Marketing Development Funds (MDF) budget and report on metrics
    • Work with marketing team to customize marketing campaigns and use case specific messaging with Partners 
    • Promote WANdisco solutions and brand internally with partners
    • Define metrics and create performance reports
    • Work with marketing departments to create co-branded assets and content
    • Engage with the Marketing, BD and Sales teams for alignment with regional events and track all regional field marketing events with the partners
    • Lead teams to develop and manage WANdisco channel events plan and calendar
    • Cultivate relationships within the partner teams - identify business development opportunities; be the partner marketing ambassador for WANdisco


    • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or equivalent required
