The Intern Role and Responsibilities
The International Developed Markets Internship is 20-hour per week paid internship with a preferred minimum commitment of 6 to 12 months.  The intern will work directly with the team’s portfolio managers and is responsible for building, updating and analyzing financial projection models for international companies.  The intern will receive an ongoing list of companies for which to build models and present to the portfolio managers each week as work is completed.  Over time, the intern will have opportunities to contribute to the team’s other research efforts, which may include primary research on specific companies, interviews of company management and industry analysts, exploration of new investment ideas, etc.
 
Preferred Qualifications and Attributes
·         Two years of undergraduate coursework in finance, accounting and investment analysis, with a strong preference for candidates who also have relevant summer or term-time work experience in finance and investments
·         Strong understanding of financial statements and ability to build company projections
·         Demonstrated interest in fundamental business analysis and equity research and investments
·         Commitment of 9 months or one full academic year of term-time work
·         Demonstrated ability to proactively drive work forward in a self-directed and independent manner
·         Strong attention to detail and communication and project management skills; confidence and courage to ask questions
·         Proven track record of intellectual curiosity and desire to work in a learning culture
