About the Position:

    • Reporting to the Regional Director, the role is responsible for finding new and growing existing SMB and Enterprise clients while working in conjunction with our channel account managers and partner community within Australia. You will be responsible for developing customer relationships through understanding their business objectives and providing the right solution to ensure they are utilizing our complete cyber security product offering.

Position Responsibilities:

    • Business Development:
    • Identify and pursue new SMB and Enterprise clients within Australia.
      Cultivate relationships with existing clients to foster growth opportunities.
      Collaborate closely with channel account managers and partner community to leverage their networks and resources effectively.
    • Customer Relationship Management:
    • Understand the business objectives of clients and prospects.
      Provide tailored cyber security solutions that address the unique needs of each client.
      Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, offering insights and guidance on security best practices.
    • Product Expertise:
    • Possess comprehensive knowledge of WatchGuard Technologies' cyber security product offering.
      Articulate the value proposition of each product and how it addresses specific security challenges.
      Stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings to maintain a competitive edge.
    • Sales Strategy and Execution:
    • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
      Utilize effective sales techniques to drive business growth and market penetration.
      Monitor sales performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed to optimize results.
    • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Work closely with internal teams such as marketing, product management, and support to ensure seamless customer experience.
      Communicate effectively with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders to align objectives and drive mutual success.

Skills and Qualifications:

    • Proven Sales Track Record:
    • Demonstrated success in sales roles, preferably in the cyber security industry.
      Ability to consistently meet or exceed sales targets and quotas.
    • Cyber Security Knowledge:
    • Strong understanding of cyber security concepts, trends, and technologies.
      Familiarity with WatchGuard Technologies' product portfolio is a plus.
    • Customer Focus:
    • Ability to empathize with clients and understand their business challenges.
      Strong customer service orientation with a dedication to delivering value-added solutions.
    • Communication Skills:
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
      Ability to effectively present technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
    • Team Player:
    • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
      Willingness to share knowledge and best practices to contribute to team success.

Experience:

    • 3+ years’ experience working in SMB and Enterprise space.
    • A degree or diploma in IT or Engineering
    • Proven experience in up-selling and cross-selling deals.
    • Previous selling IT Software/ and or Hardware experience.
    • Experience and exposure with Cyber security solutions.
    • Proven track record of successfully building and nurturing multi-level client relationships.
    • Strong customer-facing and presentation skills with the ability to establish credibility with executives
    • You have excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Self-starter, energetic, adapt quickly, inquisitive, and excited to work in fast-paced environment.
$250,000 - $300,000 a year
OTE split into 60/40 (base/commission)
