Key Responsibilities

-Financial Planning and Analysis: Collaborate with various departments to build and maintain accurate financial forecasts, budgets, and long-term financial plans. Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and potential areas for improvement. Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for senior management to aid in decision-making.

-Performance Metrics: Design, implement, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to assess the company's financial health and operational efficiency. Provide concrete insights and recommendations to enhance financial performance.

-Cost Analysis: Conduct in-depth cost analysis to optimize resource allocation, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure alignment with budgetary goals. Assist in tracking and controlling expenses across departments.

-Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic decision-making, such as pricing strategies, investment evaluations, and scenario analyses. Ensure models are accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with business objectives.

-Trend Forecasting: Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory changes that could impact the company's financial position. Provide proactive recommendations based on insights to mitigate potential risks and capitalize on opportunities.

-Ad-hoc Analysis: Undertake special financial analysis projects as required by management. These could include driven analyses, market research, benchmarking, and ad-hoc financial modeling.

-Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments including finance, operations, sales, and marketing to capture relevant data and insights for financial analysis. Foster strong relationships to ensure accurate and comprehensive reporting.

-Continuous Improvement: Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial reporting, analysis, and planning processes.

Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. Master's degree or relevant certification (CFA, CPA, etc.) is a plus.
    • 2-4 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within the technology or cybersecurity industry
    • Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and use of software/tools.
    • Strong analytical approach with the ability to interpret financial data and trends.
    • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work.
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
    • Effective communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
    • Proven track record of working collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.
    • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
    • Knowledge of cybersecurity industry trends and terminology is a plus.
Compensation
The base salary range for this position is $65,000 - $75,000 USD per year, exclusive of benefits. This position is also eligible for a bonus of 5% of the base salary. Your compensation will be based on your individual skills, education, and experience. Please keep in mind that the above range is the full base salary range for this role; hiring at the maximum of the range is not typical in order to allow for future salary growth.
